Looking for a new smartwatch? Skagen’s new Falster Gen 6 might be your perfect match! The Danish-inspired watch and jewelry brand just added tons of new features, boosted speed and performance, and faster charging. What’s more stylish than that?
The beautiful new smartwatch is powered by the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ Platform, which promises performance improvements all-around. With benefits like more efficient power consumption, faster application load time, and increasingly-responsive user experiences, the watch is sure to be a stunner no matter whether you use an iOS or Android phone.
“Following the highly-anticipated launch of Fossil and Michael Kors Gen 6 smartwatches last fall, we are proud to bring our latest technology to the Skagen customer. At Fossil Group, we always strive to deliver premier performance and innovations, working with Wear OS by Google and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., while also delivering personalized style for our design-conscious consumer from the brands they love,” said Steve Evans, Fossil Group EVP Chief Brand Officer. “This new Danish design-inspired iteration from Skagen brings Gen 6 technology to users without compromising our dedication to modern design.”
Some of the new features you’ll see on the Falster Gen 6 include increased battery charging speed, smart battery modes, upgraded health and wellness sensors, better third-party app support, a 1.28-inch touchscreen digital display (326ppi), a swim-proof speaker and microphone (up to 3 ATM), Wear OS 3 compatibility, 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM, customizable dials and buttons functionality, support for Bluetooth 5.0 LE and Wi-Fi, and sensors for PPG heart rate, off-body IR, and SpO2. It even supports USB fast charging.
The watch will launch with six terrific style options in a 42mm case size, with case color options like silver-tone, rose-gold tone, charcoal, and black, you can easily find one to match your personal style. You’ll also have a variety of bands to choose from, like stainless steel mesh, silicone, and leather. The styles are also available with all 20mm straps and bracelets for those who prefer that option.
Each style retails for $295 on Skagen’s site this month.
